So the current Boot settings only allow you to change the Boot type in a Private game, but not the Length of time is that correct?

And Premium Members no longer get protection correct? (If not then the Settings>>Account information needs updated.)

We'll see how lightning mode goes. One thing I think I may need to add is an option for the game host to terminate the game if has not filled up within a certain time period (an hour?). Otherwise it could start when the early joinees have gone to bed and then will end up being booted!

Ha, I hadn't thought about that!  Very good idea, I would be mad too if I (as the Host) started a Lightning game only to be booted immediately :P

So I have a game where one of the players simply created a WG account, joined one game, then never EVER returned (not even to play one turn). http://www.wargear.net/games/view/4906 I came on to the forums to see if there was a way of raising this issue when I came across this thread.

Just writing to say I support an overhaul of the boot/skip system. I only got the chance to read the first two pages of this thread but I just wanted to say that I agree, change is needed.

I believe old games didn't get the update to the Boot/Skip system, so some games will have to have manual boots or host boots take place...at least that's what I assume.

Yep that's right - note 'Automatic Boot Type' is set to Off.

You should be able to click on the 'Direct Boot' link to boot him.
