Ooops, worng Gathering

This map is based off of the Card Game Magic: The Gathering. It's a little strange that in a map based off of a card game you get cards, but whatever...it's just another day in the Riskyverse.

The Decks are Capitals

Take them, take the Game!

You start with 20 units in your deck and you have 5 attacks per turn with 2 fortifies and return to attack (only Heal cards can fortify). Your deck can attack any card on your side of the map with Attack Only borders (You can attack and then transfer units after that attack but you cannot fortify from the deck without attacking). There is Medium fog so you can see the cards on your side, but not the cards on the other side.

In the Card Game, each card has different abilities and prices for coming into play. Here, collumns of cards have different abilities. All Attacks, besides attacks from your deck, attack within their row horizontally (cannot attack cards above or below). Your Deck can hold unlimited units, but all other cards have a max of 5 units

Note: All borders are ATTACK ONLY

Except for the Heal Cards which have can fortify to any territory you control

  • Attack Cards: Attack the front card of your opposing players cards with a +2 modifier. Attack Cards attack the cards behind them with normal dice.
  • View Cards: These cards can see through the fog within it's row (top row can see all of the top row on both sides). They attack forward and back with Attack Only Borders and normal dice.
  • Heal Cards: Each of these cards are worth a +1 units bonus and can fortify to any other card on the board (providing you own it) except to the decks
  • Defend Cards: These cards defend against the cards in front of them with a +2 modifier and can also attack the Deck on their side.
  • Deck: Each Deck is a capital city, lose it, lose the game.
  • 1 unit for every 3 territories and a minimum of 3 units per turn.
