How can people rate this board as anything less than average... or anything more. Its the classic board we all know and love, but a repeat on this site so whatever...
Slightly different than the standard Risk board. Australia has two boarders with Siam, there are no neutrals at the start.
A big negative is that the coloring is difficult to see in the UK and Japan; if the country boarders were made slimmer I think this issue would be resolved and my rank would jump 3 stars.
Even though there are a few of what I would consider to be a few flaws on this board (like some of the players' colors are hard to make out when they occupy Britain and Japan - I agree with Alpha on this), there's something about this playful graphic that is captivating. Nonetheless, with the exception of one or two border changes, it's just another world map, which right off the bat means it would be hard for me to give it a rating higher than "Great", so I'm going with "Good".
Nice water-paint graphics with NO NEUTRALS!!! Few minor differences between your basic Risk board, but a nice clone with the simplistic gameplay attached.
one of the originals with warfare gear but the graphics are not so good, since you don't see sometimes that japan or madagscar are still occupied by your ennemy
It's the original board with a few extra borders (note the changes to Australia). If you like the original board, you might have a bit of an "uncanny valley" reaction to this one, but, once you get past it, you might enjoy it.
