Board Description

Based on the books of David Eddings. The Two islands are from the Belgariad and the Southern Countries are from the Redemption of Althalus. While Eddings is not one of my favorite authors, he did respark my love of reading many years ago. If you are not an avid reader but enjoy Fantasy with wizards, theives and adventure The Begariad is a good place to start. The cards are the 3 books that make up the series and there is a continuation series called The Mallorean which is 3 more books but basically the same story (which annoyed me)

We lost David Eddings in 2009 and this is my tribute to him.

The countries are split apart by the rivers. Mountain Ranges divide the Continents but the Ranges belong to any continent they connect to so you must fight over the Mountains to secure a bonus. The mountains Attack at +1 and defend at +1.

There is a mini-map at the bottom showing the bonuses with the Ranges shown as the striped areas.

There are no modifiers for attacking or defending across the Ocean.
