From first looks and overall board design, it's all about when to strike. however, it doesnt involve any kind of strategy, only waiting out for when the opportunity appears.

It's relatively difficult to know when exactly to attack. You need to take risks and try to guess when the opponent would strike the bacon. Attacking at the wrong time will give the opponent the edge, and if you get the advantage, you better use it quickly and wisely or it won't be good.

This board has flaws, but it can be fun if played with patience...lots of patience.

a bad board simply because absolutely no strategy is required to play it. there are two sides, separated by a border in the middle. If you win, it'll be from luck, not skill

I like the fact that it is quick when you attack, but if you fail in attacking you will lose right away.

Simplicity of design that creates an epic battle of wits between you and your opponent. Will they strike early, or build until it's late? This is a superb idea, and well implemented. It does however suffer from less than perfect visuals.

Funny to look at the extreme variance on ratings. i fall on the low end. Only played it once, and i will probably play it again just to try and earn some points. But the graphics aren't good and the gameplay is too simple and quick. Even though i don't hate it, being one of the worst boards on WG, i have to give it a 1.

As of this writing I have just achieved 20 championship points on this board and it is easily one of my all-time favorites. I loved it on Warfish before it migrated here along with the rest of us.

This board will test the patience of the most disciplined, best risk players on the site. Generally, the dice are such that attacking first should assure you lose. However, sometimes attacking first means you win. It's a breath-taking experience to play knowing that any turn could have been your last because you didn't attack, or because you did, but you just never know for certain how the dice are going to roll, so you wait. Or do you? I love it!

I tell my kids all the time: "The word of the day is... patience"... that applies to this game to the extreme! You have to have a good feel for when to attack, but let your units build up first. Player 1 has an advantage with always getting the 3 extra units first. IMO, the game would be better with total fog since you can see if your opponent takes over the bacon.

Meh! Should be more bacon and less armies on the hand to start so you can't win on the first turn.

Very simple and quick, but enjoyable. There is a little bit of strategy involved; you probably don't want to be the first person to take the bacon since it is a capitol. However, there's more to it than just attacking with everything. I prefer to whittle down the bacon slowly (attacking with only 3-4 armies in a turn) and get my opponent to commit to the bacon fully so I can clean him out once he thinks he has it won.
