Most of my experience with this board was for a tourney, and it plays very well for one on one teams. I do agree to previous comments on needing more entrances for center castle, as this is a critical stronghold, specially for multiplayer games

Challenging board -- The proximity and number of capitals combined with the fog make it very, if not too difficult to get a sense of the strength of your position.
Graphics are beautiful, though the opaque overlay is a bit muted/dark for my aged eyes, but I'm nit-picky.

In a head to head game, initial territory placement has a large impact if one player is positioned with a few territories near the center castle they can grab control within the first turn sometimes leaving the second player with no chance to attack it. Perhaps j-bomb's suggestion might help resolve this.

alot of fun to play. there are tons of ways to win and it's always up for grabs.
i would like to see a way to open the middle castle so it could be attacked 4 ways instead of 1.

I really like this board. After a few games on it I still can't say that I have figured out very good or effective strategies, although I agree with BTdubs that it is often ineffective to go for Hordes bonuses. The mix of capitols and fog is very well implemented and makes the board challenging. Taking capitols is always a risky maneuver on this board until you can do so with many units and it is usually hard to tell who could eliminate you prior to taking a capitol. The surrounding buildings help build you up in your march towards the center. I also agree with Cona Chris' observation about the center castle entrance, it would be nice if it began as neutral. Great graphics, wonderful idea!

I really wish I play better on this SUPERB board!
