Good simple board. I like seeing Mario! Initial set up plays a big factor on who wins the game.

Mario 3. Who'd have thought it'd be a perfect risk board. My only qualm is that initial placement can easily decide the game, but that goes both ways.

An ideal 2-4 player map with creative bonuses and an excellent theme. My only quibble is that turn order and initial placement can be decisive due to the small size of the map.

Ignore the confused players... all is very easy to understand, and single territory bonuses are no harder to hold than on any other board, unless they are the spades... more reward, more creativity required to hold it!
As with all in the series, it's a fun board. This one is best for 3-4. For more players, play other ones in the series. Looks good too!

Mario, you trick me yet again. This map is very unbalanced and the bonuses are very hard to hold. The castle seems to play a large deal in this map so hope you start next to it.

Love these Mario boards, they really did the Mario series justice. Still waiting on world 8 and keep those tourneys rolling :)

Nostalgia has a selection bias... and so do I!
It's a good, fun, clean little board that plays hard and fast. That it's also based on Mario 3 is a nice touch. The Hammer Bros non-contiguous border, the castles, and other bonuses do a nice job of keeping things from stagnating.

Great clear quick map! Great layout and features, potential for give and take gameplay and comebacks are possible even when thinking you're down and out, so never give up! Excellent execution of the Mario boards!
