Decent enough board, doesn't really offer anything new but can make for some good games. Visuals not the most intuitive.

Decent board. Not as great as the other Civil war map, but somewhat simpler.

Could have been good.
Pros: Fleet, rivers, cities, mountains, neutrals, cities as a part of state bonuses
Cons: Poor visual, cities that don't have bonuses, Union as one big bonus instead of at least multiple large chunks

Seems a bit lackluster compared to the other CW map, but overall its ok.

Not as good as the normal civil war map, but is more bite sized. Certainly and advantage clearing west of the mississippi. Odd ot have the coastly cities not have bonus. Odd for the northern states not to have a bonus.

Game would only be better if players could partial place units awarded at start of turn like the CW board.

Excellent game, lots of strategy involved. Doesn't play as even as some other boards due to strength of the south. Always enjoyed this board
