I enjoy this board and can't really think of any flaws with it. I might prefer to use 6 sided dice instead of 8, but that is not too big of an issue. It just makes it harder to set up a defensive position and makes one favor aggression.
This board is going to favor at a minimum medium fog.
Good maze board idea, my games on it showed it can be prone to standoffs on the board standard light fog setting so I'll recommend trying a bit more fog to see if you like that.
I like the description "Fair". This can be a frustrating board in the you "build it all up just to lose it all" sense. There are many ways to collect bonuses, but much relies on your luck, and your ability to stop the other players from gathering bonuses. The board is very symmetrical so once someone has gained some leverage, there is no stopping them, and I think she's fairly prone to stalemating.
It is fun to collect bonuses differently from your opponents and to stab them in the back!
This board's pretty good. Had a long stalemate on the game I played. I like the look. For a Maze map, it has quite good graphics. Although it is kind of cluttered with the texts on the sides. Fair board.
This board has a lot of potential, but the bonus setup is so steep that once someone gets ahead, there's no catching them. Also, once that happens it takes an awfully long time for the game to come to a close. Attacking across mazes from blue/red squares to blue/red squares currently has a disadvantage, but I think that the game would be more fair if it were actually the attacker's advantage in that situation.
This board is going to favor at a minimum medium fog.
