Board DescriptionThe Silmarillion Doriath is Closed It's the First Age and the lands of Beleriand are besieged by Morgoth (aka Melkor), the fallen Vala, from his ancient strongholds in the north. However, petty differences have kept the various realms of elves, men and dwarves from uniting for a common cause. And now Melian has closed her Girdle around Doriath. No friends or foes may enter. Several strongholds have attack or defense advantages: To simplify much of the above, locations with red arrows coming into them defend with advantage. Locations with green arrows coming into them means the attacking position has advantage. General info: Images on map: Ulmo: Lord of the Sea Gondolin: The Hidden City Also, I have to give credit to Scarecrow, who designed the original map on TOS and was gracious enough to let me amend it graphically and functionally.
