Hills and Dales:
Attacking down is easy, attack up is hard. The larger the jump, the more significant the modifier.
Each territory has a number assosciated with it in parenthesis. This indicates the elevation above sea level. The ratings are (1-4). Each border has a modifier that grants a defensive advantage attacking up and an offensive advantage attacking down. The modifiers are based on the difference in elevation.
Standard dice are 12v12. Attacking up gives the defender +1 dice side per level, and attacking down gives the attackers +1 dice side per level. For example if you attack from the highest level to the lowest level, the dice will be 15v12, and if you attack from level 1 to level 3, the dice are 12v14.
Bonuses are +1 Hordes. To get a hordes bonus you must own a territory and all the neighboring territories. In this game, hordes only considers territories on the same level, so if you own a territory that is on a level that is separate from the adjacent territories, that territory is a +1 bonus by itself.
