You're a barbarian. No, ..Really! But don't worry - Looks aren't everything.
You are a charismatic leader. The current Roman emperor may be good looking, ..but he has become unpopular, and each new day brings with it the rumor of yet another assasination attempt on him. By all accounts, his demise is likely very soon. Regardless, the empire is decentralized, weak, and ripe for the taking.
In this game, you can choose to feud with your fellow barbarians, ..or you can go for the bonuses to be found in conquering the mostly neutral Roman territories. If you are lucky, a few rougue Roman states have already struck deals with you in exchange for your kindness and mercy when you become the new emperor. Surely, all will fight valiently because they know that in the end there can be only one emperor!
Note: In the first round, the first player receives a bonus of 3 armies regardless of the number of territories held.
EXTRA DOUBLE WARNING/REMINDER: There are NO bonuses given for holding a barbarian "continent". These countries DO count towards your standard 1 army per 3 countries held bonuses, but none others. This always seems to confuse some people because they don't read the description page. Of course, you're not one of those people 'cause you're reading this.
