The Board Designer

this wiki is meant to give you a quick introduction to the different sections of the Designer, describing briefly what they do. To open the designer, Create a Board and give it a name on the design page, then open it up in the Designer.

The designer is divided into five main areas accessible from the menu of buttons at the top of the designer.

Settings Tab

This is where you upload your images. Depending on how it is configured, the Designer manages your images differently. This tutorial will explain how to configure the Settings page.

Design Tab

This is where the magic happens, and where you'll spend most of your time. Here, you will define territories, borders, dice modifiers, continents, factories, and set-up customized starting positions if you like. The Design tutorial is here.

Cards Tab

Make and name cards. Is that all there is to it? Find out here.

Rules Tab

This is where you globally customize the way your board plays. Here, you configure everything from per/territory bonuses to how many sides the dice have ..and so much more. Make sure you check out this tutorial to learn about its intricacies.

Save

Save OFTEN. It's not a Tab on the Designer, but while we have your attention..

What's Next?

Now that you've got a handle on what's what and where, let's see about starting to make your board.
