It doesn't matter if you trade 3 or the same or 3 different, what does matter is when you cash them in. Everytime someone turns in 3 cards, the next person to turn in cards gets 2 more troops than the last time. So the longer you wait, the more troops you get. You can see how many troops you'll get by clicking on the game info and looking at "Next Card Set Worth". Enjoy!
