I just had a quick question bout championship points. Over the months I have earned only a few, but have noticed that they are also always disappearing.
I read through another thread, which linked me to a helpful explanation of the ranking system and points, etc, but found no mention of points being removed over time. An explanation as to why this is happening would be appreciated, as I am just curious as to how I can avoid losing points.
...only the top 10 players of a board will obtain Championship Points
Taken from http://www.wargear.net/help/display/Rankings
This means that only if you are in the top 10 of a board do you receive Championship Points, so if you have a Ranking of 1500 but are #11, then you get 0. So you were probably in the top 10 of a few boards, then as others move past you, you lost those points.

No problem.
It would be nice if there was some easier way to track that you have lost Championship Points, but I haven't been able to think up a good suggestion that doesn't involve just potential "junk" emails.

Ditto. Because while I've known that this was the explanation, I haven't figured out a way (short of a notepad next to my laptop) to find out which boards I lose points on so I can get revenge.
Why not have a chart that displays your CP's from individual boards and total CP's over time?
That'd be ideal. But that'd take time.
I've wanted to do one of these for ages. I have a whole lot of charting related things I'd like to do once the tournaments are done and that's one of them.
