    This game started twice. So certain things aren't attaching to the correct record in the db, looks like. M57 can't see my messages, and the history has doubled units.

    didn't appear to impact gameplay, and I am going to win, so all is well. Only downside is M57 missed my charming conversation

    Well, the messaging thing turned out to be unrelated, but the game did bork. Check the history - it started twice.
