I've gotten plenty of what I think are "bad" reviews, and I never usually complain, but the latest review for Iwo Jima I thought was particularly irksome. This guy thinks I somehow ripped off his map, and then links to his own different site:

It seems he might plan to leave similar spammy reviews for many boards:

I'd report him.
Certainly, he is actively if not so subtly promoting his site..

I'm waiting with baited breath for his review of my board. Hah!
I don't know that it's a overt violation of site rules/guidelines. After all, he is playing on the site and not cheating (even if only to get ideas for his site), but it is most certainly poor form to trash boards for his clear benefit. I don't doubt that Tom would either give the guy a strong warning, or the boot ..and delete all of his ratings of the boards here.

I've actually never reported anyone before. Is there a dedicated link/form? Do I just PM Tom? Or should I email [email protected]?
either pm or send an email to that address. I've contacted tom both ways over things -
that's clearly a newer site so not even in the realm of possibility that it was a copy.
and it's one thing to share a mutual interest site, but yeah not the way he's going about it.
My thoughts as well. I followed the link from the post and the site looks interesting, but his method of recruitment seems rather...Trumpian.

It's a childish hit job, time stamps there tell a story. It might be best if this poor excuse for an ambassador gets recalled.
