Not me, but I noticed this game finished, but noone had any score change as a result.

I know Africa recently got a new version and then remerged.. perhaps this game got caught in the crossfire?

I don't think stats will be right on this board until tom does a full stats rerun.

My guess it tried pulling something from the *new* board that's now gone.

Yes I think it needs a reindex to fix unfortunately. I'll try and get it done this weekend.

Does anybody know what the status of this is? I'm in a couple of games and the ratings still seem wrong.

There was a stats reindex which should have fixed any outstanding issues with games on the Africa board - is this what you're referring to asm?

Yeah. I lost this game http://www.wargear.net/games/view/758139

the ranking message linked from the game state page says

Board Ranking Score Change
asm: 1232/1000 x20 = 24
New score = 1232 - 24 = 1208

but in the game's player list my rank is 1000

I've lost more games on that board and still have a 1000 rating

yeah, well... so i forgot what prompted this thread. just saw a lot of issues with it being the Africa map. thought i'd throw it out there in case that correlation hadn't been made.

Oh! I feel a bit stupid now that I realised I wrote twice the same message up there. After Amidon's message I wrote an answer in notebook (simple and easy program) and copy-pasted it here. At least I thought so. I made something wrong. Why would I answer to a compliment with the same message? Feel stupid.

I don't recall exactly the words, but I meant that this site is great, and not only the games, the boards, the layout and settings and everything, over time I also confirmed the awesome people who inhabit the WG planet :D

Templaribus, we've seen several posters get a repeat of posts so it's not just you. Something causes it to be fairly common.
