I'm new the wargear, having been on warfish a long time ago.

One thing I'd like to do is play the "standard" Risk board game, with static card values at 5,5,5,5,5... 

Is something like that out there?  I found the "standard" board, but I couldn't see a way to change the card values.

WarGear has gone the route of making things less configurable by the player, so the map maker has to create a scenario to allow different card values.  I think Tom's thought process is that the map maker has a better idea what configurations will play well on their maps.

So... Unfortunately I don't think there currently exists a scenario on the standard map with 5,5,5,5 cards.

Has options for repeating 4,6,8,10 cards and for no cards.  I think that's the closest that currently exists.  I'll try PMing cartographer for you and see if he'll make a 5,5,5,5 scenario.

I would recommend playing Colossal Crusade if you want 5,5,5,5,5,5 card scale. It's not too different from the standard board, and it's one of the more popular boards here. 

I have access to that board in order to create new scenarios.

So, wdr1, here you go - choose the scenario "Cards 5 5 5 5"
