Noob here. Where can I find the archive of the as played games? Is there a way to observe games that are ongoing?

You can view other games either by board, or by player.

Go to any board you like -> Select "Games List" (right most button in the middle of your screen below the toolbar with your user name) -> Then "view" by "Live" to see ongoing games, or "completed" to see past games. You can then sort by date created, if you wish.

Or you can do the same by user. Open a user's profile. (For example, http://www.wargear.net/players/info/berickf is definitely worth checking out). Then same as above: Games List, View by....

Note with games that are ongoing you are subjected to the same fog levels as the people in the game -
