Some of my defaults also reset ealier this week - had to reset them.

I wonder if, due to the large influx of new players (which is a really good thing), the site’s current capacity is being overtaxed.

A bunch of my settings were reverted to default this week, as well. And there seems to be some issue with my Premium information display in-game -- I'm only seeing the basic info.

UPDATE: I *was* only seeing the basic info, but now the Premium info is back.

@Kjeld - it's been really bad at times over the last week, to the point it times out and gives the 'bad gateway' error.

Speaking of resetting to default - In one of my DEV games of Electoral Decision, mid-game my (and only my) Win Condition reset to "Last Man Standing."  Everyone else in the game has a "Territory Count" Win Condition properly set to 270.

Yeah, today has been the slowest on record.

Other sites are also slow for me but not as slow.

I believe Tom is running this site on pre-Pentium hardware and his ISP is twocupsandastring.com, but what do I know. :)

It's been running good for me all day

Been really slow for me every day for the past week. 

Today has been up and down for me.

I think tom scheduled something at one point. The ticker emptied again.

I'm just glad I'm down to less than a half dozen games.  It it very slow much more often than it is reasonably fast.

I've been seeing things slow down a bunch around 3-4 PM GMT. Kicking around the charts area, it looks as if we are up to double the number of usual games played--2542 on 11 April 2020 . . . 1295 on 14 Sept 2019.

I came back after a 4-year hiatus... it's just as slow as I remember it being.  I'm on a gigibit connection and even something as simple as joining a game can take 45 seconds.  It just hangs.   I have to manually refresh my browser to have it complete.  Ending turns is just as bad.  Time of day doesn't change anything.  I remember having to manually refresh my browser 4 years ago too.  Some things never change.  ;)

very slow and getting errors in the middle of turns and have to start the turns over again. Joined a game and looks like opponents turn and then later is shows that it was my turn first and i got skipped. a lot of weird stuff lately

Site was fine for me up until a few days ago.   Now it is really slow seems like all the time.
