new, Is there a way to not see ANY team games?  (tried the filters at the top but when I went in some games in the non-team filtered list, the options for the game had Team On!) 

It would be a great time-saver if we could put in our options preferences and simplify our view of games.  Thanks

When you go to "Join Game", there are a whole bunch of options at the top. Game Speed, Clock Type, ...

For "Teamplay", the default is the green dot. Change that to the regular play(the single man icon). After doing that, you will not see any team games.

I tried to describe that I had already done that (including no Fog, etc.) It held my preferences, but some of the games in the list below Did have Team option chosen, which was a surprise.  (glad I checked)  New here, so still finding my way on many details.  Thanks

I just tried it, and it worked correctly. Maybe you pressed the wrong button?

It has always worked perfectly for me. 

I find it a lot easier to avoid this altogether and create games exactly as I like them :D
