    hi all

    We lost the old server due to memory failure and recovered from backups.

    The migration went well and logins were re-enabled just now (9am EST). Nothing should have been lost in the cutover as I was able to successfully take a complete copy of the site and database.

    Autoboot / skip is not yet re-enabled - this will be done on Monday at 9am EST. All turn timers will be reset at the same time and realtime games re-enabled. Any existing realtime games will be converted to 1 day turn timer games.

    Amazing, Tom.

    I made my daily login this morning and was so surprised to find the site up and running smoothly this quickly. I'll be the first to admit that I've let my premium membership slip from time to time. So, I just wanted to let you know how much I've appreciated this site and the fun it has brought me over the years.

    Also, I'd swear the size of this board was bigger, but maybe it's just my brain playing tricks on me.
