In team games, we've had people recommend doing team continents, where as long as your team holds the whole continent, you get the bonus. There was disagreement about how this would get played out (who gets the bonus, for instance).
Maybe we can get around that concept by having a Team Attack feature where the dice automatically change to 0 sided dice. You still have to consume an attack (for games with limited attacks per turn) but at least your partner's armies will automatically roll over. Your partner loses the army and you have to consume an army to occupy the space, just like normal, but at least your partner can't take a giant chunk out of your own unit count.
Just throwing it out there.
i think that's been tossed out there (maybe not in a serious tone, more of a "would be neat if")...i know that's peeved me before, killing multiple units on a friendly just to take a bonus.
Multiple units... Sounds like your teammate was not conducting good suicide-strategy to pave the way for you weather ;-)
Not sure about this. Means that when cards get really important it's too easy to take out your teammate, combine cards and use momentum to take out opponents.

This is immediately where my train of thought went
There is a strategic element to taking out an ally. Lots of guys won't do it, but I see it as an important and necesarry thing to do. But then again, the current trade off is that you have to properly beat your ally.
i do it whenever i know it will lead to victory, or when i am trying to keep another team from taking the elim bonus...

those were against singletons...
I don't think berickf loses against singles......:)

That explains a lot.
