I was under the impression that if you autocapture a territory with a bonus, you would get the bonus on the same turn that you autocaptured the territory.

For some reason we aren't getting the bonus until the following turn.

Anyone have any experience with this?

From what I recall, you don't get the bonus until the next turn.  Wargear first looks at all territories and uses that to decide bonuses all in a first pass, before the bonus is applied.

If you really want the bonus on the same turn, you can have another continent that is the same members as the auto-capture and have that give the bonus.  Then you need a 3rd continent with the auto-capture members and the auto-captured member to give a negative bonus to balance.

The main problem is that you quickly run into a situation where the number of required factories balloons, and it's a real pain to create all those continents and error-check them, even with direct XML editing.

Agree, I don't see how you could get the bonus.  I would call this a feature that falls under the category of a real-time factory type.
