From January 1st, 2016 French areas change. 22 administrative territories become 13.
Will Wargear design an option on this board with the new French administrative division ?

NEw names are provisionnal based on old names and will change at the beginning of 2016.

Corsica and Ile de France stays

Basse-Normandie and Haute-Normandie will probably become Normandie.

Board development is open to everyone.  You can make this board if you are interested.   Developers here are very friendly and eager to help, so please ask away if you have questions.

It would be a fun scenario for the current board though.  

I am not sure how much KrocK is around anymore though.

So this does get me thinking -

We don't have a method for creating scenarios for each others boards, but maybe some of us could have that power?  How much "ownership" does a creator have for a board if they haven't been here in many years? Should boards that have sat fallow be "refreshed" graphically by some of our star graphics artists?

Good question.. I have given thought to it in the past and I have to admit that I have mixed feelings about it.. It's a complicated issue.

I wouldn't mind someone fixing any 'bugs' in my maps that were discovered after I left wargear (like that's ever going to happen), but I don't think I'd like the idea of someone doing much more that that.

Tom has actually given me the ability to clean up the graphics on some maps when they were not displaying well in the native player, so I think that's a possibility still, if there is a real problem.

i popin every few weeks but dont have time to develop or mod any boards... RL is way to busy.

This makes me want to make a board with a timeline, when it hits 2016, the continents change.

I have a half created one that counts the number of turns that happen... and at some point the game changes.

I think it was about oil, and the oil reserves slowly run out.  So the first part of the game was about securing the oil, and the second part about political factions.

Not the same... but similar.
