Does anyone know how eliminations are handled in Darkness Falls? (http://www.wargear.net/boards/view/Darkness+Falls)

    It has off-board territories right?

I am working on a board that needs off-board territories but wanted to try to do it without capitals if possible.

Off the top of my head - the player isn't eliminated until any active off-board territories have be captured by opponent's factories, which sounds like it would have a somewhat awkward, but effective elimination mechanism.  Because players can't be eliminated by factory, players eliminate themselves by coming back to take a turn - they can't place, so they hit attack, and the engine, seeing no options, eliminates them.  That's my guess and I'm sticking with it until Cram or Ozyman shoots it down.

Card Membership - putting the power of factories in your hand.

Haven't played Darkness Falls yet, but will soon. Didn't know players get eliminated if they can't attack. I thought they would have to either manually end the turn till the end of the game or skip and get booted. There's still the problem of the eliminator not getting the elimination bonus and card capture, probably why that board offers none.

On a side note, I will soon find out what happens when a factory eliminates a capital. If the killer does not get elimination bonus I have a workaround specific to my board but I don't know of a generic workaround.
