Your number is how I will randomly select a member each month to bring to light the board of their choosing (I hope you have a couple in mind).
If you are selected please state what board we will be playing with a short break down as to why you chose it, then post a link to a game.
...and the number is 10. That's you Xrayjay.
Cool. It'll be on the King of the Mountain board. First board I played on WarGear after migrating from TOS. Will start game tomorrow....wifey has my credit card somewhere and I need to locate it to upgrade membership so I can start another game.
King of the Mountain? Yay. One of my boards. So while I'm thinking of it, maybe you guys could encourage each other to rate boards after the game - even if it's a preliminary rating, but especially if some of you have played it before. Us designer types always appreciate the feedback, and of course especially when it's complementary. The comments are almost more important than the # of stars you give because it helps future prospective players to determine if they might like the board.
Now that you have touched on this, M57, I will start rating boards at the end of the month. That is something I could definitely be more diligent about.
Thanks Abishai for organizing this, I look forward to playing some interesting boards!
Here she be:
As a knock-on effect this group (finally) got my ass in gear to pony up my $10 to the site again.
Your most certainly welcome. Xrayjay has the big game starting. I'm starting a 6 player game as well. Please save a couple spots for the outside community as well.
I'm at my max 10 games right now (including a previously created King of the Mountain) but i'll join one of these two as soon as i'm able to
I notice king of the mountain has that native player problem (for me atleast), where the territory borders are so thin they get obliterated in the native player.
Maybe if M57 has time, this would be a good time to fix it? Easiest thing to do is to just go in and make them all 2 pixels thick instead of 1.
I haven't noticed this problem - could you be specific about where or what borders are problematic?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he is saying that all the borders are too thin. I think the problem is, for me at least, when you own bordering territories. It just looks like one big blob of your color and it's hard to tell which territory is adjacent to what.
M - It doesn't happen on all colors, but it does happen. I'll PM you a screenshot of what I can see in the current game and can show you examples. (it's a fogged game, so I don't want to show screenshots of the board as I see it.
there might be a couple that are hard to see if you own them both, but it's not a broken board...

Yeah definitely not broken. I just noticed a couple of mine are hard to differentiate in the player. Probably an easy fix though.
I'm with Boris - having a hard time seeing where borders are for myself internally and for neutrals. It's gonna be tough to plan my rampage across multiple turfs!
