Well history is not working for me on any game, using any player, no matter who's turn it is. The log view is working in the ones I've looking at.
The history is not working with flash or native in this game:
http://www.wargear.net/games/view/427334
I can see some of the history, but then at some point, (using native) it just stops and the right arrow moves the screen instead of moving the history. If I then use the left arrow, it goes back to the the history, but as soon as I try the arrow again, it moves the screen. Strange.
but is working with native in this game:

Strange.
In flash, I find it fixes the problem if you push the refresh button -- not the reload button, and not the refresh icon just below the menu. The one next to the button with all the little color squares on it.

That didn't work for me :-(
berickf wrote:when I went to the history it didn't play from the beginning of the game. First it showed the board, then it erased the board, then it repopulated the board territories as they were first displayed, then it populated the territories with one, then two, then three troops, then the game start finally happened and I could see my opponents moves. It shows a lot of stuff it doesn't have to. In a large player game, or a large board or a board with a lot of complicated off board mechanisms, I don't even want to imagine how much gibberish might potentially be tracked onto such a game's history!
Agreed that this is really annoying on the Native history viewer. The game--as far as the player is concerned--doesn't actually start in the history until a good chunk of the way through. Such that if I want to look at the first player turn, I have to slide the slider to somewhere in the middle to move past all the setup history (which just doesn't really matter).
History broken here as well.
Not sure if it's related... but the luck graph is gone too.
It seems to be working for some games and not others.
This game was started, I think, after this problem first cropped up, and I'm having the issue:

In native player when I click on history it jumps to turn 1. The dropdown to select a turn number only has 1 in it. Although now the 'next turn' 'last turn' buttons actually do work so this is more than adequate.
Um, ha - went back to finish watching history and play my turn after that post and, yeah, this won't work - the history viewer simply stops at turn 186. It shows 187 and 188 but they can't be selected and I can't move past 186.

My luck graphs went the way of the dodo as well...
Sorry folks, there was an extra bug that has now been fixed. Again, once you take your next turn it will be fixed.
I'm going to run an update to retrospectively fix this.
Should be fixed for all games now.
Thanks Tom! Histories and luck charts all working now for me!
Great, thanks for letting me know.
Sorry to say this, but it's still not working for me!
Edit: It worked in the native player but still not in the flash player.
Working for me on Flash (I think I updated it within the last two weeks - it was pretty much a forced update. - Safari - OS X
Mine is working.
Tom, you're awesome.
I don't know what the difference might be, but history is still not working for me in the Native player in this game: http://www.wargear.net/games/player/429134
I've taken a turn, reloaded the page, and even restarted Firefox with no effect.

Have you tried a different Browser - Are you on a Mac and do you have the latest flash update?
No, IE is the only other browser I have installed and it's too much of a pain to run. PC. Latest flash just installed, but surely not relevant for the native player?
I see it *is* working for me, however, in a game that started after Tom announced the fix. So probably the non-working game is a vestigial symptom, and it is all but over now anyway.
