Can't pass up a chance to hang out with Cumberdale! I joined, and offered my initial impressions in the game chat.
Removed a couple fortresses and gave them an in-hand collector's bonus.
Looks nice. I'm a bit busy to join, but I will say that I'm not a fan of maps where borders are not explicit. Yertle's Zombie Islands is another example of such a map. I just find them too 'tricky' for my poor linear brain. It's not that it's not clear in the description, or that you haven't implemented it consistently, but the idea that you can attack across an area where there are a number of territories in-between (with no obvious roads or pathways), but can't attack a close neighbor due to what amounts to a political border is just not intuitive to me.
Anyway, just my 02 cents.
Are you doing another Dev game in addition to that one? I missed it
