I'm coming back to WoW after a hiatus with some friends of mine. We're a small, easy going group of guys in their late 20's, early 30's. Some of us met in college, some met in-game. We've all been playing on and off since Vanilla.
I'm wondering if there are any WG'ers that are current players or are planning on coming back to WoW for the expansion this fall?
We're looking at playing Horde on Bleeding Hollow, US server. We're all really jazzed about the changes, and will likely try to raid quite casually 1-2 nights a week at most. We also do arenas and BG's... but think of it like a softball "beer league". Some of us play competitively, others are just having fun goofing around after work.
ALSO if you're just playing any other blizzard games feel free to add my battletag: Chogyam#1369. This is a great community and I'd welcome any of you to join us or just friend me over there.
Cheers!

Never really got into MMORGs. Just can't support the time commitment.
I used to play a lot of WarCraft 1 and 2...

I used to play a lot of WarCraft 1 & 2 too, but that was the original RTS, not the MMORG.
In 20 years wargear will be one of the most popular MMORPGs.
You guys might enjoy hearthstone if you haven't heard of it. It's a card game similar to magic the gathering but based in the warcraft universe (and its computer-only, no paper cards). It's blowing up, and super fun.
I saw a little bit about that before. Looks interesting. It say play for free on their website. How much of it can you play for free? Does it have mobile support?
Also looks like fun for the math geeks: http://hearthstats.net/
Yeah there's a ton of math geeks that play this.
You can play 100% free (many people have made it to legendary rank without spending a dime), and it's currently supported on iPad, but later this year should be out on all mobile devices.
