How come no one joins my new games, and I can't see them in the Open Daily Games list? They show up under "my games" and they are still waiting to be filled. 

Can you link to a couple of these games & I'll let you know if they are in my join games list.  They won't show up in your list, because you've already joined them.

I see a Maze and an Ants game.

Your doing pretty good with some of those bigger games.  As a general rule, the more players, the longer they can take to fill... or if the board is not very popular, sometimes it takes a while too. 

Also, if there are a whole bunch of the same game on the join games list, you chances of filling right away are smaller too...  

So lots of reasons... but worry not, fill they will. Especially the games your waiting on. 

I joined them both because I haven't played either in a while.

Oh, and to also answer your original question:   The Open Games to Join list does NOT include any games that you are already in.  So when you create the game, then go look at the open games list, it is expected behavior that you cannot see the game, but other players will see it.

If you go to "my games"  you will see them though.
