881 kb - png - 900 x 900. Is there any reason my pic won't upload?
I've tried small pngs and jpgs. I've tried uploading from chrome and safari. I've tried creating a scenario and uploading to that. I'm using a Mac -- I choose my file, hit the "open" button in the "Select file to open" window that pops up -- it then goes away, but the "choose" file window just stays there, with nothing uploaded.

Sounds like it should work. Which image(s) are you uploading (Board/Fill/Fog/Card)?
Have you tried Firefox/IE?

Main board image.. Haven't tried FF or IE ..but it really should work with Chrome or Safari, don't ya think? I'll try again this evening when I get home from work. If no joy, I'll download FF and give it a try. I don't think I can bring myself to put IE on my Mac. Besides, wouldn't that constitute heresy?

I can't upload an image either. Tried it Safari, FF, and Chrome.

I can't upload an image either. Tried it Safari, FF, and Chrome.
Edit: Hmm it appears to just be a mac issue. Had no problem on my PC.

any word on a fix for those of us without an easy PC option?

Sure, it's "easy" for some to go out and buy a PC.
but I just converted to the "other" dark side. Now I don't know which side is darker.
Hey Tom, are you ever able to test things out on a Mac?
Tue 15th Feb 2011 09:14 #9 / 25
Unfortunately I don't have access to a Mac at all for testing. Does any Mac user know if this used to work in the past?

It didn't work for me on 2010-06-10, so I'm betting it's never worked.
What happens is that I click upload, a popup opens with options "choose file" and "cancel"
Choose file opens up a window to my computer, where I can pick image files.
I choose a file, click open, and then get back to the same wargear screen where nothing happens until I get bored and give up. (I'm not able to click "cancel")
I've tried both .jpeg and .png in a variety of sizes, and get the same result in chrome and firefox.

Can you try again please? I've added some extra logging to see what's going on.

I'm at work all day -- All we have are PC's -- if BT of Dan hasn't tried it by the evening, I'll get on it.

I made a change to the file upload code as well which may fix the problem.

bump..
Still unable to upload a board or fillmap image from my Mac., but I just started a tourney and was able to upload a trophy image, which I'm pretty sure I was unable to do before. Might it have something to do with the type of form being used?

The issue is with uploading images via the Flash based Designer. The tourney image is a simple HTML POST.

Just trying to think of an easy workaround..
On the "designs" page, might it be possible to create right-click upload option on the "action" link.. or perhaps a dedicated upload page that can be reached from the "designs" page?
