This may have been covered already, if so I apologize. Any way to add a Nudge or Take your Turn button?

there really is not a reason for one, this site skips the players turn once his allowed time to take a turn has expired. nudging people won't solve anything other than if someone forgets to end there turn. it would more than likely just piss me off getting nudges, and make me take the whoe time i have.

Agreed, I am pretty much a day player and on active weekends I might use a full 48 between turns.  The last thing I need is someone "nudging" me.

If we implement a nudge button, then I'd also like a "Go Nudge Yourself!" button as well.

I think the 'Turns Waiting' alert already serves the function of letting someone know there is a turn for them to take.  If you really want to Nudge a player, then you could send them an instant message using our chat functions.  If they aren't listed as available on that list, then a Nudge button wouldn't be any more effective since they probably don't want to be bothered.  I do share your frustration of waiting for a player to take their turn at times, but that's their choice, not much to do.

    +1

Nudging can get pretty annoying.  Folks need to respect other player's timeframes as long as they're within the game parameters.

Agreed a nudge button would be a pain. Unless it only appears 1 hour before someone is about to get booted/skipped. Or may be there should be an automatic e-mail (as an option) to remind you your are about to get booted/skipped, but that's a different subject. I am starting a new thread about it...

The reason why nudges were not implemented was as a result of the automatic booting / turn skipping feature that ToS never had. As a result there should be no need for Nudging.
