Poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed

Then one day he was whittlin' at some wood,

And up through the interwebs come a dice-rollin' brood

(gamin' that is, Risk to some, WarGear to me)

Well the first thing you know old Jed's has an idear

Kin folk said "Jed, make a game from there."

Said "WarGear is the place you oughta be"

So he loaded up the board and tried to make it fun.

(Grid to gain bonuses, makin boxes, makin plus-es)

Well now it's time to whittle the wood like Jed and try to win

He would like to thank you folks for kindly dropping in

To have a heaping helping of an arse-whoopin variety

(whittle the wood down, that's what they all do now)

- the Whittlers attack the Grid

- the Knives attack the Wood

- Grid gives bonuses for boxes and 'plus'es

- If you're the first to whittle the Wood under your Knife to zero, you win the game.
