Zombies rule, not too much to review except right to left goes from large states to small ones so the bonuses add up quicker on the east coast the the west coast.

I had a great first game, but need to play this board more. The southwest seems a little unbalanced with all the bordering zombie states.

Diggin it... It's not ALL about taking over one section and choke points which is what MOST boards are about. Fun. I think they humans are out numberd tho :).

The modified borders and bonus structure make the default US board into something fun and unique. I like it.

Basically everything Mongrel said. The 'Bama-area territories are a little challenging to identify, and there are some other problems graphically, but it's still fairly playable. It's just a shame that so many people insist on playing it outside of its strengths (two player games, that sort of thing).

A whole heluva lot going on with the image. The fog layer, as so often happens, takes away from the intuition. I would also advise against low # of players/teams with this one, with the high number of bonuses, attack-advantaged areas, and potential for severe placement bias. The three games I've played in a 2v2 tournament were all completely over after turn 1.

EDIT: Had an enjoyable comeback victory in the tournament. Card cashing and eliminations allowed our team to overcome an early deficit.

I do like the idea of ZSOA, and have high hopes for future games.

Interesting idea, extremely fun. agree with river that the choke points make it a much better map.

Interesting concept that works quite well. I like the bonuses. Some nice choke points. A very strong map. Good job.
