The paths have no defense to smurf of so I wouldn't keep your smurfs in there. The house have a +1 defense bonus but can only hold 5 smurfs because they are smurfin' mushrooms. You can hold 20 Smurfs in reserve and return to Placement is turned ON.

The 4 Clearings can attack each other but also have no defense.

Return to Attack with 3 transfers

You MUST capture a none empty territory to get a card. Smurfing a Smurf with no Smurfs won't get you Smurf!

Abandon is ON

Bonuses are labeled on the map and you get 1 smurf for every 3 territories. Smurfette's House is worth +2 and Papa Smurf's Lab is worth +1.
