Special Rulez!

Each ship location has a max unit count of X10 its attack power - same for shields and its def value.

*** Shields NO LONGER ATTACK OTHER SHIELDS. ***

HELMS:

  • Helms may attack only to a shield to simulate taking a shield down and space-marines space-walking from outside the ship to breach it.
  • Helms may "bombard" (artillery) any location on a ship except a helm.
  • Helms act as factories and produce units accordingly to that location if all of the ship is held.
  • SHIELDS:

  • Shields CANNOT attack a helm but can attack any other place on a ship.
  • Shields may be attacked from any other location on a ship to simulate repeling the breaching space-marines.
  • Shields may not be reinforced from the outside.
  • Space-marines can reinforce from the shields to fighters simulating the fighter picking them up.
  • FIGHTERS:

  • Fighters may attack other shields.
  • Fighters can receive reinforcments from shields simulating the fighter picking them up.
  • Fighters may bombard ANY ship location.
  • Fighters may NOT be bombarded.
  • Fighters must attack other fighters shields and may not direct attack them.
  • ** Attacks to shields use the ships bonus for attacking and the shields bonus for defending. Bombardment to a ship location uses no bonuses for attack or defense.
