I forgot to rank this back in the day, but it was really fun. Although, you have to figure out the complexities and get enough people alongside you who know what their doing as well (more of a critique of players in the public pool than the map itself).
Another very good board by Kjeld. Should be listed as medium complexity (not simple). One should be aware of the board's different resource locations and also the various terrain which greatly affects the dice border mods. Also, the unlimited reserves should be used to tactical advantage.
Beautiful layout, nice description of bonuses on board, and great gaming. YOu do have to pay close attention to the many different features of the board, and although I tend to prefer simple maps, this os one of the complex ones that I find enjoyable. I particularly like the team games I've played on it, but it goes well for individual game action as well.
