Scenario: Fixed Start
Scenario Rules: The players begin the game with one territory on opposite sides of the board; all other territories are neutral with 0 units. First player gets 2 units on the first turn, the second player starts with 4.
Goal is to be the first player to control 36 territories of the castle (out of 71) -- note that each player has 1 off-board territory, so the win condition states 37.
Each player gets 15 units per turn to place, minus 1 for each 2 territories you control (rounded up). The closer you get to your goal of controlling 36 territories, the fewer units you will have to place! Note that you will always get a minimum of 1 unit per turn.
You can offset the negative bonuses by at least half by controlling an area. Each area is outlined in a bright color, and will reduce your negative bonus for controlling the territories inside it by 1/2 to 2/3. Note that the hallways and passages are not connected to areas, with the partial exception of the Black Room Area.
Dice are 6 v 8, attacks are limited to 5 per turn, and you can return to attack from fortify.
