Tobruk
Background:
It's May, 1942. After his inital early brilliance, Rommel was driven back almost to his starting point in Cyrenaica. With the British effort to save the Balkans, their initiative was temporarily lost and Rommel was able to lead his German and Italian units back towards the Egypian border.
Now the fortress port city of Tobruk lies within Rommel's grasp for the 2nd time. However, the British have resupplied their forces. Will Rommel redeem himself for his earlier failed attempt at Tobruk and lead an assault into Egypt or will the revitalized and slightly numerically superior British under General Wavell succeed in relieving Tobruk and driving the Axis forces back with their Operation Battleaxe? Both sides have wearily found secret paths through the treacherous minefields and seek to outmaneuvr eachother, but who will strike first?
