the northeast chokepoint is extremely unfair, and the lack of fortifying makes the game very hard.

For some reason I was absurdly lucky and won my game without breaking a sweat. Thanks to heavy fog I don't really know why. I began by cleaning out the northwest corner and expanded from there without ever encountering any resistance, not even at the chokepoint in the northeast. I kept wondering if the game was a joke and the punch line would be stumbling into an opponent with 1000 armies, but no. Fun if you're shallow like me and enjoy a lucky win, otherwise flawed.

Good for 2v2 and 4 player games.
Not recommended for 1v1 or 3 player games. The initial distribution can play a very big in the smaller games due the presence of a choke point.

Good small board for fast team games or multi-player, a bit unbalanced for 1 vs 1.

Looks good, great theme. Not very well balanced in game play. Looks like the eastern corner should dominate, and it does.

This is a great hordes board.
It's pretty well balanced and looks alright. It plays good with all number of different players.
Be sure to play from the edges, you don't want to be caught in the middle!
