Dice are set to 8 sided. Pirate Ship defends with a -2 modifier but attacks with a +2 modifier! Fortify to any connected territory with Return to Attack from Fortify enabled. Elimination bonus of 3 troops to place immediately.

Continents in this scenario are laid out Hordes! style (control a territory and all bordering territories for a +1 bonus)! The Pirate Ship is not a part of any bonus.
